Bolt Marketing Group is seeking a new owner for its event property, Kids Obstacle Challenge.


Founded as a family-focused obstacle course race series, Kids Obstacle Challenge grew to become the largest kids and family obstacle event in the country prior to COVID, welcoming more than 150,000 participants annually across cities nationwide. The events were designed to encourage outdoor play, confidence, teamwork, and adventure—creating memorable experiences for kids and parents alike.


Like many live-event businesses, the pandemic brought unprecedented challenges. Despite continued efforts to relaunch the races, Bolt has been unable to resume operations at scale. As a result, the decision has been made to sell the Kids Obstacle Challenge brand and assets, with the hope that a new owner can bring the experience back to communities across the country.

The sale is structured as an asset purchase (no liabilities) and includes:


  • The Kids Obstacle Challenge brand name

  • A complete set of steel and wood obstacles

  • Event and operational equipment and playbook

  • Trailers and logistical assets

  • Marketing assets, including video, photography, and advertising materials

  • Customer and email lists
